The Millgard Warranty
Milgard's warranty is one of the best warranties in the business. It isn’t just a “limited warranty” or “limited lifetime warranty,” it’s a Full Lifetime Warranty that is good for as long as you own or reside in your home. When you read the fine print, you’ll find that makes a huge difference. Milgard ensures top quality from start to finish by precisely controlling their vinyl compound formulation to withstand harsh climate conditions. They extrude their own frame material and fabricate all vinyl windows to order. This gives them the tightest control over quality. Milgard stands behind every window they build because they know they have been built right. Ask us for a full copy of the warranty to see for yourself how it stacks up to other window manufacturers.
Rocky Mountain Window Distributors Installation Warranty
Let us get right to the point, our installations will stand up to Wyoming’s harsh weather. We feel so confident in that statement that we warranty the installation for 12 months. This gives you an opportunity to experience all four seasons with your new windows. We promise that if for any reason you have an issue with your windows during that time, we will be prompt in meeting your needs.
What to Expect on an Installation
We will begin by taking off the casing and jams to get down to the raw window frame, unlike many of our competitors. We then install the windows and seal it from the outside as well as seal and weatherize the inside.
Our Installation Team
Installation is the second biggest key component in our business, coming only behind the quality Milgard windows we offer.
Our local, installers are experts in hanging windows and have all completed the AAMA’s Installation Masters™ Training and Certification Program. They not only know how to properly install the window, they help improve energy efficiency. The installers have worked with us for years and we don’t use third-party installers.
Your windows are not only manufactured to AAMA standards, they are also installed using AAMA approved methods to ensure that you get the best installation possible.

Windows that Perform
From Sierra Pacific
Sierra Pacific manufactures state-of-the-art window products. We are millwork folks at heart and our products bear the unmistakable character of the craftsmanship inherent in our company lineage. As the largest manufacturer of millwork in the United States, we understand the precision necessary to mill products to the exacting specifications critical to the production of quality windows. And milling select grades of Ponderosa Pine or Douglas Fir is just the beginning of the process.
Our sash and frame corners feature mortise and tenon joins and are sealed and screwed. We take the additional step of injecting sealant into specially designed corner keys in the corners of our frame for additional protection from moisture.
Next, we integrate our quality millwork with top grade extruded aluminum to protect the exterior surface of the window and increase the longevity of the product. Our aluminum clad exterior boasts one of the thickest extrusions on the market — and not only is the frame clad with extruded aluminum, but the sash is clad with extruded aluminum as well.
Our aluminum clad product also features an extruded nailing flange that is an integral part of our frame extrusion. This may seem like a small thing, but we believe that quality is based on the attention to detail. Plastic or vinyl fins can crack and fold-out or field-applied fins have a mechanical joint where the fin is applied to the window — creating a point for potential water intrusion. We see the value in the superior strength, stoutness and water protection of our integral extruded fin.
We take care of the details too. Every clad product we produce features a factory-applied extruded clad drip cap at the head. Make no difference to us what the shape — radius, trapezoid, ellipse or rectangle — all products get an extruded aluminum drip cap finished to match the exterior of your window — applied at the factory. We take it one very important step further. All Sierra Pacific factory-mulled units sport a continuous drip cat to provide water protection at the most critical spot — the joint between the mulled units.
Next, we factory-apply a butyl corner pad to seal the mitred frame corner prior to shipping our product. We don’t want to count on your installer to apply corner pads on our products in the field. Rather, we go the extra distance in our plant to assure the proper seal at the critical joint at the frame corners. Our peace of mind comes from knowing that our products arrive at your jobsite fully assembled and ready to be installed.
But we don’t stop there. We consider the energy efficiency of your windows and doors as well. We understand that the edge of the glass is the critical location for heat loss or gain — and that the temperature of the glass unit affects the energy performance of the window. Our insulated glass units feature spectrally selective, LoEmissivity coatings. We build our insulated glass units with the only TrueWarm® Edge spacer — we go the extra distance to guarantee that your windows will remain beautiful and functional for years to come.
With a Sierra Pacific window, beauty is not just skin deep. Our windows perform.
